Mountain's Edge will be home to the 220-acre Mountain's Edge Regional Park that will create beautiful open spaces and recreation areas and ultimately will host large community-wide events and activities. The Clark County park is expected to include a regional center, cultural center, skate park, performing arts amphitheatre, festival area, multi-use sports fields, practice softball and baseball fields, playground and spray feature, and enhanced picnic amenities with additional parking facilities. Bounded by Mountain's Edge Parkway on the north, Durango Drive on the west, Cactus Avenue on the south and open desert on the east, the park will take several years to complete. However, Clark County has secured funding for the 15-acre first phase, which is planned to include with picnic facilities with open grass play areas, benches, shade structures, drinking fountains, play amenities and restrooms along with parking and 1.5 miles of trails.
